A Culture Event I Attended Was A Christmas Holiday Parade

A culture event I attended was a Christmas Holiday Parade. I choose this event because this holiday can be interpreted in multiple different ways throughout the world. Differing cultures, societies, family traditions, and religion, are all factors on how each person celebrates this particular cultural holiday. Christmas Day is a huge occasion that is acknowledged and honored by many every year. Although it may be interpreted differently, the celebrations and festivities are seen all around the world. Christmas is a yearly celebration inspired by the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25th. â€Å"Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift giving, Christmas music and caroling, an exchange of Christmas cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various Christmas decorations† (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas). Other customs for more religious cultures include attending church on Christmas Eve and observing various parades starting days for the ho liday.
